\nSanlam Developing Markets (SDM) (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanlam Life Limited) is one of the top financial services providers in the South African entry-level and emerging middle market. It aims to understand the unique requirements of clients and offers a wide range of simple and affordable financial solutions that cover needs such as funeral insurance, savings for education, life cover and personal accident plans. In terms of the Sanlam Group Governance Policy, SDM is managed by the SA Retail Mass cluster, which is part of the Sanlam Life and Savings cluster within the Sanlam Group. There are four businesses within the SA Retail Mass cluster, namely; Group Benefits, Individual Life, Safrican Insurance and African Rainbow Life. What will you do?
\nResponsible for the timely and effective response to IT user queries and problems through the receipt and logging of problems and the co-ordination of rapid and appropriate responses for higher-level problem resolution and advice on both new and established systems. What will make you successful in this role?
\nAssisting Helpdesk and Application Support Teams<\/p>\n
\nUser Access is to be created as per audit requirements, within SLA and communicated appropriately to users.<\/p>\n
\nAssign JIRA logs (ticketing system logs) for User Access evenly to the Application Support Team.
\nAssign general JIRA logs to the relevant Business Solutions Teams.
\nEnsure integrity of JIRA logs before assigning onwards
\nMonitor JIRA logs to ensure that completed logs get closed timeously.
\nCreate and maintain Helpdesk documentation accurately.
\nCommunication with Business Qualifications and Experience Matric 1-2 years helpdesk experience General computer literacy Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) experience ITIL Foundation (preferable) Knowledge and Skills Business Requirements Definition Client Delivery and incident handling Problem Tracking Tool Reporting and Administration Technologies Personal Attributes Interpersonal savvy – Contributing independently Decision quality – Contributing independently Action orientated – Contributing independently Optimises work processes – Contributing independently Build a successful career with us
