Zakes Bantwini: Biography of Zakes Bantwini, Age, Wife, Profile & Songs,<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Zakes Bantwini (born 26 May 1981) is a South African singer, record producer and businessman from KwaMashu F-section, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n He was born into the family of Jeffrey Khanyile and Nomthandazo Madida in Durban and raised in KwaMashu.<\/p>\n Bantwini has a Diploma in Jazz and Popular Music and he is one of the contributors to the establishment of the Durban Kwaito Music (DKM) \u2013 the genre that is a mixture of house beats and kwaito lyrics.<\/p>\n In 2004, during his final year at technikon, he established his own record label; Mayonie Productions.<\/p>\n He is known for his song \u201cClap Your Hands\u201d, featuring Xolani Sithole, from his album Love, Light and Music.<\/p>\n Other featured tracks from the album include Bum Bum and Wasting my Time.<\/p>\n
