Lerato Kganyago: Biography of Lerato Kganyago, Age, Husband, Net Worth & TV Shows,<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Lerato Kganyago (born 22 July 1982) is an award-winning TV presenter, model, actress, DJ, businesswoman, and socialite.\u00a0<\/strong>She is well known for her talk show, The LKG Show, which she hosts on Soweto TV.<\/strong><\/p>\n Lerato also hosts The Link, a lifestyle magazine on SABC1.<\/p>\n She was born on 22 July 1982 in Soweto, South Africa. She is 38 years old as of 2020.<\/p>\n Kganyago had her primary education at Ipolokeng Primary school and secondary education at Boksburg High School where she matriculated. She went on to Damelin College where she obtained a Diploma in Travel and Tourism and Public Relations.<\/p>\n She is the only child of her parents. Lerato shares a good personal relationship with her mother, Rae but describes her father as emotionally absent.<\/p>\n However, in her recent interviews, she spoke about letting go of the hurt, betrayal, pain and grudges she had against her father and mending their broken relationship.<\/p>\n Lerato is related to SABC spokesman, Kaizer Kganyago. She is his niece.<\/p>\n The 37-year-old got married to Gauteng tycoon, Thami Ndlela in a traditional wedding in 2020. Their traditional wedding took place amid the coronavirus outbreak and before the lockdown but all precautionary measures were taken.<\/p>\n The couple did not stay long together, they split just two months after their traditional wedding.<\/p>\n Lerato Kganyago announced the split on Instagram:<\/p>\n \u201cIT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS THAT WE ANNOUNCE THAT THAMI AND I HAVE DECIDED TO GO OUR SEPARATE WAYS. WE HAVE COME TO REALISE THAT OUR DIFFERENT PRIORITIES AND WORKLOADS HAVE NOT AFFORDED US THE TIME TO INVEST IN OUR RELATIONSHIP,\u201d HER STATEMENT READ.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n She had previously been engaged to South African footballer Katlego Mashego. They were together for four years and broke up in 2014.<\/p>\n In 2002, she participated in a beauty pageant in she was crowned Miss Jam Alley 2002. She was also a finalist in the Miss City Press contests in 2003 and 2005 and was crowned Miss Soweto in 2005.<\/p>\n She was featured on the popular drive time show on Jozi Fm, with DJ Hluks, as an entertainment news updater. On the same slot she hosted a car show updating listeners about the latest cars and celebrities that drive them.<\/p>\n In 2008, she became a presenter at the community TV station Soweto TV until 2012. In 2012, she got hired by SABC 1 replacing\u00a0Bonang Matheba\u00a0as the host of \u2018The Link\u2019 a lifestyle TV show that aired on SABC 1. In 2016, she replaced\u00a0Pearl Thusi\u00a0as the co-host of SABC1 music show LIVE Amp.<\/p>\n In 2010, she had a small role in the e.tv drama series 4Play: Sex Tips for Girls. She has also had cameo roles on Live (she co-hosted the show with Crazy Lu), the mini-series After 9 on SABC1 and The Wild on M-Net.<\/p>\n In 2015, she joined SABC2 soapie Muvhango in the role of Mmasebotsana Primrose Mojalefa, a beauty and a businesswoman in which she made\u00a0her debut on Thursday, 11 June 2015.<\/p>\n She was a partner in the FTV (Centurion) franchise and she owns Black Angel, an events management company.<\/p>\n She has also secured deals with the Gauteng Department of Education, Face of Jawad Products in Lesotho, Revlon, Always Ultra Campaigns, Silver Star Casino, and Tropica alongside hosting music festivals as an MC.<\/p>\n In 2015, Kganyago had a miscarriage and during an interview on Real Talk by\u00a0Anele Mdoda\u00a0she revealed that she has actually had two miscarriages.
