Gugu Mbatha-Raw (born 21 April 1983) is an English actress well-known for playing the role of Tish Jones on British science-fiction sitcom, \u201cDoctor Who\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She was born Gugulethu \u201cGugu\u201d Sophia Mbatha-Raw in the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, to a South African doctor and an English nurse.<\/p>\n

She played as Kelly in Black Mirror, Dido Elizabeth Belle in Belle, Noni Jean in Beyond the Lights, and Plumette in the live-action adaptation of Disney\u2019s Beauty and the Beast.<\/p>\n
