Tellaman (born 14 April 1991) whose real name is Thelumusa Samuel Owen is a self-taught and well-recognized South African musician, songwriter and producer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

His hit single \u201cDrinks And Music ft. Okmalumkoolkat\u201d put him on the map and was featured on the \u201cSoul Candi Sessions 15\u201d album.<\/p>\n

In February 2019, he was announced as Apple Music\u2019s first Pan-African Artist Spotlight.<\/p>\n

Tellaman grew up in a musical background. His interest in music was sparked by his mother who made him sing in the youth choir at church.<\/p>\n

He began writing and recording his own music in 2006 when he was fifteen years old. He makes his music organic by drawing inspiration from everything around him.<\/sup><\/p>\n

Tellaman was signed and featured in Soul Candi Record\u2019s compilation album titled\u00a0Sould Candi Sessions 15<\/i>, alongside MoFlava, Lulo Caf\u00e9, Cueber and Hareal Salko.<\/p>\n

Tellaman\u2019s disc, titled\u00a0Ntsikelelo<\/i>, included hit singles \u201cDrinks and Music\u201d featuring\u00a0Okmalumkoolkat<\/sup>\u00a0and \u201cIntoxicated\u201d featuring Lastee.<\/p>\n

The album sales passed Gold status and it was nominated for the Best Compilation Award at the 2015 Metro FM Awards.\u00a0<\/sup><\/sup><\/sup><\/sup>In June 2016 his EP\u00a0Mind Vs Heart<\/i>\u00a0was released, followed by another EP titled\u00a0Lucid Dreams<\/i>\u00a0which was released in February 2017.<\/p>\n
