He is 37 years old as of 2019.<\/p>\n Steve Tshwete and Pamela Tshwete are Mayihlome\u2019s parents. His father\u00a0was a South African politician and activist with the\u00a0African National Congress.<\/p>\n He served as the first Sports Minister and later was Minister of Safety and Security. Mayihlome lost his father on 26th April 2002.<\/p>\n Pamela Tshwete is the Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation. She had previously served as an MP since 2002.
