The Specific objectives are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To develop a catchy, easy-to-connect-to Setswana brand name<\/li>\n<li>To build a brand logo that encapsulates the essence of the programme<\/li>\n<li>To develop a catchy tagline for the SDP<\/li>\n<li>To develop a branding kit for the SDP<\/li>\n<li>To engage the creative industry in Botswana in the work of the UNDP<\/li>\n<li>To extend an opportunity for growth to a young Motswana designer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ELIGIBILITY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be eligible for this competition, participants must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a Motswana: A Botswana citizen or resident<\/li>\n<li>Be a young person between the ages of 18-35<\/li>\n<li>Have a qualification in graphic design OR professional experience as a graphic designer or related field<\/li>\n<li>Must submit ALL documents as per competition rules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HOW TO ENTER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Entries must include the following documents to be considered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Curriculum Vitae incl. applicant contact details<\/li>\n<li>Copy of Applicant\u2019s ID<\/li>\n<li>Branding Kit in single pdf document inclusive of the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Proposed Brand Name<\/li>\n<li>Logo design<\/li>\n<li>Tagline proposal<\/li>\n<li>Brand manual comprising:\n<ul>\n<li>Brand message \u2013 overview of the background and key values<\/li>\n<li>Logo usage \u2013 detail of where and how to use the logo including minimum sizes, spacing and what to do with it<\/li>\n<li>Colour palette \u2013 primary and secondary colour palette with colour breakdowns for print, screen and web use<\/li>\n<li>Typography\u00a0 \u2013 application of font to use and details of the font family, default fonts for web use<\/li>\n<li>Business card and letterhead design \u2013 depiction of how the brand and font are to be used for standard company literature<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>CLOSING DATE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The closing date is<strong> Monday, 1700HRS.\u00a0<\/strong>Any applications submitted after this time will not be accepted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MODE OF SUBMISSION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The branding kit must be submitted in PDF format via email to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sdp.bw@undp.org\">sdp.bw@undp.org<\/a>\u00a0with \u201cUNDP SDP Rebranding Competition\u201d in the subject line.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CASH PRIZE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A panel of judges will select the winning logo and the winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of P30,000.00.
