The COVID-19 pandemic has amplified this situation.\u00a0Digital innovations\u00a0<\/strong>can help to overcome this challenge by removing barriers to education for persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n

Eligibility Requirements<\/p>\n
You can submit your innovative idea, mock-up, or proof of concept (PoC) in any of the 4 criteria apply.<\/p>\n
\n
You are developing a\u00a0digital device and\/or application<\/strong>, that facilitates inclusive education.<\/li>\n
You have a concrete idea to raise awareness for\u00a0inclusive education\u00a0<\/strong>using digital technologies.<\/li>\n
You develop\u00a0digital assistive technologies<\/strong>\u00a0to be used in educative settings.<\/li>\n
You are working on\u00a0accessibility solutions<\/strong>\u00a0for online learning environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Individuals or Teams of Innovators, Entrepreneurs, Students, Changemakers, Tech geeks, Disability activists.<\/li>\n
Persons ageing at least 18 years old or above the legal working age in the country of residence.<\/li>\n
Permanent residents of an African country or non-residents teaming up with an African organization.<\/li>\n
Please note that Atos or GIZ employees (and their immediate family) are not eligible to take part in the challenge. Any solutions that are already on the market will also be excluded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
