The Office of the Premier – Eastern Cape in partnership with the Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services SETA (merSETA) is calling on all unemployed youth across the Province (aged 18-35 years) to apply to be trained as qualified artisans, over a period of 3 years.
The Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services SETA (merSETA) and Eastern Cape Office of the Premier are looking to employ unemployed youth in 340 apprenticeships in the manufacturing industry.

- Minimum Age: 18-35 years
- Matric or N2 equivalent
- English, maths, science, trade theory with a minimum of 50% for maths
- Learners must be goal driven, hardworking and have a desire for the trade.
- Be a South African Citizen residing in the Eastern Cape Province
