Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Allan Gray Fellowship Programme, applicants must meet specific academic and citizenship criteria. A minimum of 60% in Mathematics at AS levels or Form 6 is required, along with an overall average of 70% or higher in their latest AS Level or Form 6 results, excluding Life Orientation/Skills. Applicants must be citizens of Eswatini, Botswana, or Namibia and be under 21 years of age in the year of application. They must also plan to study Commerce, Science (excluding Medicine, Veterinary Science, and Dentistry), Engineering, Law, Humanities, or Arts at one of the program’s 10 partner universities in South Africa.
