ARMSCOR is offering Postgraduate bursaries for suitably qualified South African students who are
registered full time for Honours or B-Tech, Masters or Doctoral level.
Fields of Study which are supported are:
 Electronics/Electrical (Light current) Engineering
 Mechanical Engineering
 Aeronautical Engineering
 Naval/Marine Engineering
 Metallurgy Engineering
 Mechatronics Engineering
 Material Sciences
 Computer Science
 Chemistry and Physics
 Human Kinetics & Ergonomics Sciences
The bursary covers the following:
 Tuition fees
 Accommodation
 Prescribed books
 In addition, our Postgraduate bursary–holders may apply for funding which can be used to
attend local conferences, workshops, and a visit to a laboratory or any other activity that
supports the beneficiaries’ current progression
 Candidates must have an interest in working in the South African Defence Industry
 Good academic records
 Candidates must be registered or intending to register at a SA public University
 Candidates must be a South African citizen

Basic Requirements for Computer Science Bursaries

Students who want to apply for a Computer Science Bursary are required to have the following to qualify for a bursary.

  • You have to be a South African citizen with a valid ID Book / ID Card.
  • Provide proof you will need financial assistance.
