Program Details
The eThekwini Municipality Community-Based Social Media Internships 2026 is a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program. It targets youth who are not in employment, education, or training (NEET). The internship lasts 18 months and takes place in Durban, within the eThekwini Municipality area in KwaZulu-Natal.
This program mixes school needs with job experience. Students get to work on communication tasks that help the community. It is open to those studying fields like marketing, public relations, communication, journalism, or digital marketing.
Key Skills You Will Gain
During the internship, you will build practical skills in several areas.
Community Communication
You will help with awareness campaigns and prepare notices for the community. This includes supporting outreach programs to connect with local people.
Digital Media Skills
