Program Overview

The EWSETA Internship Programme runs for 24 months and focuses on practical training. It targets South African graduates and TVET students who need real-world exposure to finish their qualifications. Participants work in Parktown, Johannesburg, and get a shot at better job prospects in energy or water fields.

Available Internship Positions

EWSETA has openings in several departments. Here is a breakdown of the roles:

Corporate Services

• ICT and Facilities (1 post): Help manage ERP systems, support ICT tasks, and aid in system development.
• Marketing (2 posts): Create content, run campaigns, and engage with stakeholders.

Skills Delivery & Quality Assurance

• Inter-departmental Roles (3 posts): Coordinate operations, check quality, and support program delivery.

Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME)

• Skills Planning (3 posts): Conduct research, analyze data, and track sector activities.

Sector-Specific Administration

• Energy Sector Administration (1 post): Coordinate energy programs.
• Water Sector Administration (1 post): Handle admin tasks for water programs.

Finance Branch

• Financial Management (1 post): Assist with finance admin and compliance.
• Supply Chain Management (2 posts): Support procurement and document management.

Office of the CEO

• Governance and Legal (1 post): Provide admin support for legal and governance matters.

Who Can Apply?

This program suits university graduates, university of technology graduates, or TVET students with N6 certificates. Ideal fields include public management, business administration, financial management, supply chain, marketing, ICT, monitoring and evaluation, research, legal administration, governance, or energy and water qualifications. Priority goes to those who need workplace training to complete studies.
