These qualifications are part of the Report 191 curriculum. Students who have completed these levels and are seeking practical experience are encouraged to apply.

Programme Duration and Requirements

The Work Integrated Learning Programme will last for 18 months. To be eligible for this learnership, applicants must meet several criteria. They need to be between 18 and 35 years old and be South African citizens. Applicants must also be unemployed and have no criminal record. A good command of English is necessary, and candidates must be willing to work within the insurance sector and funeral parlours.

Furthermore, applicants should not be currently studying or planning to study during the programme. They should also not be enrolled in any other learnership, internship, or training program. A key requirement is being a registered or former student of Gert Sibande TVET College. Finally, applicants must possess N4 to N6 Certificates or a DHET Statement of Results in one of the qualifying fields. Students currently volunteering, especially outside the insurance industry, are advised against applying.

Required Application Documents

To apply for the INSETA Learnership, candidates must submit a specific set of documents. These include an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) and an originally certified copy of their South African ID. Applicants also need an originally certified copy of their Matric Certificate and, where applicable, their NCV Certificate. Originally certified copies of N4, N5, and N6 Certificates or the DHET Statement of Results are also mandatory. It is important that all certified documents are no older than six months from the date of certification.
