Harry Gwala District Municipality invites applicants to apply for their Finance Internship Programme for 2020. This internship will run for the period of 36 months.
The Council of Harry Gwala District Municipality has established five contract positions geared towards capacitating young graduates for a career in local government finance in the Harry Gwala District Municipality.
Municipal Officials will be working in conjunction with National Treasury to ensure that the trainees’ progress to a successful career in the Municipality will provide substantial training and support.
The Budget and Treasury Office is offering an opportunity to graduates so that they can acquire valuable work experience.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- A complete three year BCom Degree or National Diploma with a major in:
- Accounting
- Financial Management
- Management Accounting
- Financial Accounting
- Financial Information Systems
- Local Government Finance
- Internal Auditing
- Unemployed graduate who hasn’t been employed under any internship programme, organisation or institution previously
- Excellent computer literacy
