Minimum Requirements

• Be enrolled in or have completed a SAICA-accredited programme that allows entry into the SAICA Initial Assessment of Competence (IAC) in January 2027.
• Eligible qualifications include:
• Certificate in Theory of Accounting (CTA).
• Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA).
• Honours Degree in Accounting.
• An equivalent qualification recognised by SAICA.
• Candidates currently completing CTA Level 1 or BCTA are not eligible.
• Candidates applying from another training office must have already passed the SAICA Initial Assessment of Competence.
