What the Learnership Offers
Successful candidates will gain valuable experience and training over three years. The programme is designed to expose trainees to key areas required by SAICA. This includes:

Programme Duration and Location
This is a three-year professional training programme. The training will take place at the City’s offices located at 33 Hoofd Street, 6th Floor, Braampark Forum 1, Braamfontein, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for this programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Completed Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).
- Completed Certificate in Theory of Accounting (CTA) or Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA), endorsed by SAICA.
- The qualification must be a prerequisite for admission to the SAICA Initial Assessment of Competence (IAC).
- Have 0 to 1 year of working experience.
- Candidates currently under a SAICA training contract with an accredited training office must have successfully passed the SAICA Initial Assessment of Competence (IAC) and be within the first year of their contract.
- Preference will be given to Johannesburg residents.
Applicants currently completing CTA, CTA Level 1, or a Bridging Course into CTA are not eligible to apply.
