Requirements for Human Resources Intern

To be eligible for the Human Resources Internship, applicants must possess a Degree or National Diploma in Human Resources. A certified copy of your academic record, including your results, is also required. Candidates should be proficient in at least two of the Western Cape’s three official languages, with strong communication and writing skills. Financial Management Internship

The municipality is also looking to fill two positions for Financial Management Interns. This role offers a remuneration of R100,000 per annum, with no additional benefits or allowances provided. Requirements for Financial Management Intern

Applicants for the Financial Management Internship must hold a BCom Degree, National Diploma, or an equivalent qualification, with a preference for those majoring in Accounting. Good verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English are necessary. The role also requires computer literacy, including a good understanding of Microsoft Office Word and Excel applications.

Responsibilities of Financial Management Interns

Interns in Financial Management will play a role in ensuring adherence to GRAP principles and budget procedures. Interns will also be involved in reconciliations, financial analyses, electronic data capturing, and general financial administration. There is a possibility of rotating through different departments during the internship period.
