Requirements for Applicants

To be considered for these Animal Health Technician roles, applicants must meet specific educational and professional criteria. A Grade 12 certificate is a prerequisite, along with an appropriate qualification at NQF Level 6 in Animal Health or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA. Current registration with the South African Veterinary Council as an Animal Health Technician is mandatory. Additionally, a valid driver’s license is required, unless the applicant has a disability that prevents them from driving.

  • Capricorn District: Two positions are available, one in Capricorn East (Ref No: LDARD 01/04/2026) and one in Capricorn North-West (Ref No: LDARD 02/04/2026).
  • Mopani District: Three positions are open, with two in Mopani North (Ref No: LDARD 03/04/2026) and one in Mopani West (Ref No: LDARD 04/04/2026).
  • Vhembe District: This district has the largest number of vacancies, with eight positions spread across Vhembe East (X2, Ref No: LDARD 05/04/2026), Vhembe North (X3, Ref No: LDARD 06/04/2026), Vhembe West (X2, Ref No: LDARD 07/04/2026), and Vhembe Central (X1, Ref No: LDARD 08/04/2026).
  • Waterberg District: Two positions are available, one in Waterberg East (Ref No: LDARD 09/04/2026) and one in Waterberg North (Ref No: LDARD 10/04/2026).
  • Sekhukhune District: Three positions are to be filled, one in Sekhukhune Central (Ref No: LDARD 11/04/2026), one in Sekhukhune East (Ref No: LDARD 12/04/2026), and one in Sekhukhune West (Ref No: LDARD 13/04/2026).

The salary offered for these positions is R397,116 per annum, which falls under Level 08.
