He was the leader of the university’s Democratic Alliance Student Organization branch and the Gauteng DA Youth deputy chair in 2012 while a student at the University of Witwatersrand.
For the Johannesburg region, he is a member of the party’s Federal Council. He also serves as the treasurer of the African Liberal Youth (ALY). He attended the African Liberal Network’s 2017 conference in Nairobi, Kenya, as a representative of the organization.
