About the Data Center Technician Internship Programme
Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) division is providing internship positions for individuals looking to become Data Center Technicians. This infrastructure supports well-known services such as Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and Bing. Interns will work in modern data center settings, learning from experienced professionals. The program aims to develop the next generation of data center experts.
Responsibilities of an Intern
Interns in this program will be involved in several key tasks. They will assist with installing, troubleshooting, and removing server and network equipment. Following established data center policies and procedures will be a core part of their duties.
Interns will also be responsible for completing assigned support tickets and participating in daily safety briefings. They will support equipment maintenance and other operational tasks. Working effectively with technical teams across different shifts is also expected.
Additionally, interns must know when to escalate technical, safety, or security issues. Completing all required technical and safety training is mandatory for program success.
