About the Internship Programme

Internship Details
The program lasts 24 months and pays a monthly stipend of R5 000. It takes place in Libode and Ngqeleni, Eastern Cape. Applications close on 11 May 2026 at 15:30.
Available Internship Opportunities
Two main roles are open.
1. Facilities & Fleet Management
This position covers building maintenance and repair. You need a Certificate in Basic Plumbing. Interns help with daily upkeep of municipal buildings and vehicles.
2. Building Maintenance and Repair
This role requires a Certificate in Carpentry. Tasks include fixing structures and supporting infrastructure projects. You will work on real repairs under guidance.
Minimum Requirements
To apply, you must be a South African citizen aged 18 to 35. You need to be unemployed and hold a relevant Degree, National Diploma, or Certificate. Show interest in plumbing, carpentry, or maintenance. A driver’s license helps if you have one.
Key Responsibilities
Interns assist with routine maintenance and repairs. They join infrastructure inspections and support facilities operations. You will follow safety rules, attend training, and record your work. Working with pros builds your skills fast.
