Historical background of R.K.Khan Campus
Training commenced at R.K. Khan Campus in 1968, offering the Diploma in General Nursing. The Certificate of Enrolment as a Nurse was introduced in 1969. In 1973 midwifery training commenced. In 1985, we saw the first students from R.K. Khan Hospital being accepted for the B. Soc Science Degree Course in Nursing. In 1986 the course for the Diploma in General Nursing was replaced by the four (4) year comprehensive integrated course.
