Older Persons Grant – Wednesday, 3 May 2023

Disability Grant – Thursday, 4 May 2023

Children’s Grants – Friday, 5 May 2023

Grant payment dates refer to days on which the beneficiary can collect their money at a post office branch or a designated pay point. Grant beneficiaries can also collect their money at several retail stores including Pick N Pay, Boxer, Usave, Shoprite, and Checkers.

Alternatively, beneficiaries can choose to have their grant paid directly into their bank account from Sassa. This is an attractive option for many beneficiaries as it allows them to access their money at any time.

There is no need to rush to withdraw cash on the first day. Once the money is in the account, it will remain there until it is needed.
