SASSA is looking to fill two permanent Grants Administrator positions. These roles are based in the Mopani District at the Maruleng Local Office. This is a Level 05 position with a salary range of R237,453 to R279,708 per annum, not including benefits.
Minimum Requirements for Grants Administrator
To be considered for these positions, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a Senior Certificate or Matric.
- Hold an undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6, recognized by SAQA.
- The qualification should be in one of the following fields: Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, Commerce, Social Sciences, Social Security, Law, or Information Technology.
- Demonstrate computer literacy.
- A valid driver’s license will be an advantage.
Duties of a Grants Administrator
Successful candidates will be responsible for a range of tasks focused on customer service and grant processing. Key duties include providing customer care, processing grant applications, capturing and maintaining beneficiary information, administering medical bookings, and supporting grant assessments. They will also be involved in outreach services and managing the scanning and batching of grant files.

- Facilities Management and Auxiliary Support (1 Post): Requires N6 Public Management, Public Administration, or Business Management. This post is at the Limpopo Regional Office (Ref: SASLIM 04/2026).
- Finance (2 Posts): Requires N6 Financial Accounting or Financial Management. Placements are in Sekhukhune District (Ref: SASLIM 05/2026) and the Limpopo Regional Office (Ref: SASLIM 06/2026).
- Grants Administration (2 Posts): Requires N6 Operations Management, Public Management, Public Administration, or Financial Accounting. These roles are in Waterberg, Mookgophong (Ref: SASLIM 07/2026) and Capricorn, Blouberg (Ref: SASLIM 08/2026).
