Episode 1
Severiano assures Raymundo that his wife cheats on him. Father Sixto surprises Roberta and Severiano kissing each other passionately inside church.

Candela awaits Father Sixto whom she invited for breakfast, she visits the church to investigate what happened.

Roberta begs Raymundo not to kill Severiano and then shoots him with his gun.

Melesio and Joaquin see the flames from afar, they hurry to inform the police. Roberta states that the baby she is expecting is Severiano’s.

Severiano takes away Roberta’s baby and lies to her that their daughter was born dead. Candela tells Severiano they have to pretend to be in a happy marriage.
