Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the Transnet Artisan in Training Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Qualification:
- An N2 to N6 Certificate with relevant Trade Theory, Engineering Science, Mathematics, and other related subjects.
- OR an NCV Level 4 certificate with relevant Trade Theory, Mathematics, and relevant vocational subjects.
- OR a Technical Grade 12 certificate including Mathematics, Physical Science, and relevant Trade Theory.
- Mathematics Pass: A minimum of 50% in Mathematics.
- Age: Between 18 and 30 years old.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Prior Certification: Applicants must not already possess a Trade Certificate or Red Seal.
