Transnet Artisan Apprenticeships Programme Application Details

What is Transnet?

What is This Apprenticeship Program?
The goal of this apprenticeship program is to take qualified students and give them the opportunity to put their education into practice.
Transnet will give successful candidates the chance to carry out the roles and responsibilities that they studied for and actually experience what their chosen profession is like.
This is a nice introduction to the working world, where candidates will gain exposure to their chosen profession and also have a decent amount of work experience under their belt, and securing their futures.
Candidates will be tasked with the following:

- Finding faults in hydro electrical and mechanical equipment.
Requirements
Please make sure you meet ALL of the following minimum entrance requirements before submitting your application because if you don’t, your application will be rejected:
- NTC2 with 4 relevant subjects to your trade (all passed).
- Or Technical National Certificate Vocational level 4 or higher with 7 subjects passed.
- Or a Technical Matric Certificate with pure maths and physical science, along with relevant trade theory all passed.
Please be aware that you need to be a South African citizen below the age of 35 years to apply for this program.
