JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the physical receipt of goods inwards and the issue of stock against appropriate requisitions. Stocks and stores items in good order and organise the warehouse to comply with set standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric (Mathematics will serve as advantage)
- Ability to function independently within a team context and to accept responsibility
- Strong analytical, numeracy, and interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills , including excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Package
- Constantly adding value to the current function of the job
- Good communication skills
- Appointment subject to a clear Criminal Background check
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diesel order and purchase on a weekly basis
- Booking out fuel against different vehicles daily on NAV
- Accurate record keeping of all stock and fuel
- Order and purchase vehicle parts on request of departments from suppliers
- Management of tyres for vehicles repairs and new purchases
- Stock control in the store including incoming, outgoing and available stock and monthly stock-take
- Capture invoices and purchases on the system
- To liaise with internal, external clients and suppliers on an ongoing basis to ensure quality service and products
- Comply continuously to quality control policy according to internal quality control and legislation to ensure the quality of the product
- Comply with occupational health and safety requirements as per standards and procedures
- To successfully complete all allocated training interventions by direct manager
