Internship Overview
The programme lasts 12 months. Interns receive a stipend of R3,000 per month. It takes place in Mpumalanga, South Africa. There are four positions open: one Production Foreman and three Safety Officer spots. Applications close on 17 April 2026.
Available Internship Fields
York Timbers has two main internship types.
Production Foreman Internship
You will help with production planning and workflow. This includes supporting timber harvesting and processing. You will also learn about logistics and operations management.
Safety Officer Internship
You will assist with safety inspections at work. This role supports health and safety standards. You will join in identifying hazards and reporting them.
Minimum Requirements
To apply, you must be unemployed and between 18 and 35 years old. You need to be a South African citizen. A diploma or degree in a related field is required. You must commit to the full 12 months and live in Mpumalanga.
