Company Description:
Mafube Colliery (Opencast Mine) is a Joint Venture (50/50) between Anglo Coal SA & Exxaro Resources. The mine is situated 37km east of Middelburg, in the Mpumalanga province. We mine coal, primarily for supply to the export market.

If you are ready to provide a value-added service to our operation that is resolute on enhancing equipment performance, then we are looking for you to help us improve our operational performance across our coal business.
Job Description:
- Operate mining machinery as required
- Assist in the construction and maintenance of the water reticulation systems
- Assist in all drilling and blasting related activities
- Maintain general housekeeping standards
- Comply with health, safety and environment standards, legislative and functional requirements
Qualifications:
- A minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
Additional information:
- 1-year Opencast Coal Mining experience, coupled with certificate of competency in mining machinery
- Basic knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High regard to Safety, Regulations and Standards
- Valid driver’s license
