Becoming a Force of Nature 2026: Empower Young Leaders for Climate Action
Young people around the world face big problems like climate change and unfair social systems. Many want to make a difference but need help to start. The Becoming a Force of Nature 2026 program offers a way for those aged 16 to 35 to gain skills and confidence for real change in climate action or social justice.
This online program runs three times a year. Each round lasts three weeks with one session per week. Sessions last 90 to 120 minutes, and recordings are available if you miss a live one. You will spend about 2.5 hours a week on sessions and activities. It fits busy schedules for students and young workers everywhere.
Program Structure
The Becoming a Force of Nature 2026 follows a clear path in three workshops. Each builds on the last to turn feelings into action.
1. Anxiety to Agency
This first session looks at emotions tied to global issues. You learn how mental health connects to climate and social problems. The group talks about feelings like anxiety or fear. You pick up ways to build personal and group strength. Tools help turn those emotions into drive for change. By the end, overload turns into power.
2. Discovery (Agency to Efficacy)
Next, you find your own strengths as a changemaker. Think about what you love, your skills, and values. Figure out your reason for action, or “your why.” See what brings joy in helping others. Create a guide for choices and steps ahead. This keeps your work true to who you are.
3. Catalyst (Efficacy to Action)
The last workshop focuses on doing. Pick a problem to fix, like one harming communities. Map it out and plan solutions. Make steps clear and doable. Walk away with a real map to start impact. Ideas become projects you can launch.
