A unified development initiative combining the actions of initiation, facilitation, coordination, and implementation for rural expansion, is underway by the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD) in South Africa.

Successful candidates have an opportunity to be young professionals first in relevant industries, research, and institutions. They receive appointments as interns before the placement process kicks off. DALRRD Bursary Application Requirements
Interested applicants must satisfy the following criteria before applying for the bursary. Failure to this results in disqualification of their application.
- Have South African citizenship
- Must complete filling the bursary application forms provided at DARLD’s website.
- Apply only for the fields of study listed above for consideration of your application.
- The department contacts successful participants only by 10 March 2022 after the National Bursary Committee completes the selection process. Failure to receive any communication after means your application was unsuccessful.
- The department does not allow faxed or e-mailed applications.
- Late submission of applications cannot receive any consideration.
- It is okay to apply while waiting to receive the University acceptance letter or Final results.
