You may qualify for one of these discounts
5% SIBLING DISCOUNT
If your brother or sister is studying at IIE MSA, each sibling is eligible for a 5% discount on the tuition fees. The award does not cover textbooks, stationery, printing costs, living expenses or any traveling costs. Payments are in the form of an automated credit note to your tuition fee account. No cash is transferred to the student’s personal bank account.
Eligibility:
- Share the same parents or single parent.
- Both siblings have registered for a full load in the same semester.
- IIE MSA account should be in financial good standing (i.e. all fees for the semester should be settled on or before the published payment due date).
- Pay tuition fees on/before published fees due dates.
- Apply for the discount.

5% EARLY SETTLEMENT DISCOUNT
If you settle your full fees for the year by the 31 January 2022, you will be eligible for a 5% discount. The discount will be applied to your tuition fees account at the end of your first semester for the year you have paid your full year’s fees. The award does not cover textbooks, stationery, printing costs, living expenses or any traveling costs. Payments are in the form of an automated credit note to your tuition fee account. No cash is transferred to the student’s personal bank account.
Eligibility:
- Register in a full-time course with full load as per course structure.
- Pay your full course fees for the 2022 academic year by 31 January 2022.
- Must be self-sponsored.
- Apply for the discount.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP AWARD HEAD PREFECT
Total value of the award:
If you have played a crucial role by being a school head prefect in your previous secondary school, you will be eligible for a R6 000 discount on your 2022 tuition fees. This award is to recognize the importance of leadership skills pursued by the student. The award does not cover textbooks, stationery, printing costs, living expenses or any traveling costs. Payments are in the form of an automated credit note to your tuition fee account. No cash is transferred to the student’s personal bank account.
Eligibility:
- Register for a full-time undergraduate course in 2022 academic year.
- Register for a full load as per the course structure.
- IIE MSA account must be in financial good standing.
- Must be self-sponsored.
- Apply for the discount.
- Only for commencing students (new students).

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD CURRENT STUDENT
The total value of the award:
This award is offered to IIE MSA current students, to encourage and reward academic excellence in their previous studies. Current students with a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 75% and above, will be eligible for a R4 000 discount on your 2022 tuition fee. The award does not cover textbooks, stationery, printing costs, living expenses or any traveling costs. Payments are in the form of an automated credit note to your tuition fee account. No cash is transferred to the student’s personal bank account.
Eligibility:
- Register for a full load as per the course structure.
- Conditional upon satisfactory academic progression (WAM 75% and above).
- IIE MSA account must be in financial good standing.
- Must be self-sponsored.
- Apply for the discount.
- Only for returning students (current students).

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD NEW STUDENT
Total value of the award:
This award is offered to IIE MSA commencing students, to encourage and reward academic excellence in their previous studies. Commencing student with a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 80% and above, achieved in Grade 12 or equivalent qualification (excluding Life Orientation), will be eligible for a R4 000 discount on your 2022 tuition fee. The award does not cover textbooks, stationery, printing costs, living expenses or any traveling costs. Payments are in the form of an automated credit note to your tuition fee account. No cash is transferred to the student’s personal bank account.
Eligibility:
- Register for a full-time undergraduate course in 2022 academic year.
- Register for a full load as per the course structure.
- Conditional upon satisfactory academic progression (WAM 80% and above).
- Must be self-sponsored.
